Faith: You must see it before you see it!

What is faith? In a nutshell, it’s trusting God for something we hope for because we can’t tangibly see it at the moment. You must see it before you see it! In my journey of believing God, I had to fill myself with Gods word and speak his word. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. I also, had to make a decision to walk by faith and trust God. Faith is a choice. You can choose to trust that God knows what’s best for you or worry yourself silly. I chose to trust God, for he’s a good father and takes good care of his children.

Faith can be scary and crazy at the same time. The reason it can be scary is because it’s the “unknown”. No one wants to walk across a busy street with a blindfold. You have no idea what will happen. That’s a part of faith, walking in the unknown but believing that God will make a way somehow. Faith can be crazy because it’s an action. I remember believing God for a home. I would go pray on that property, ride up and down the street and walk the neighborhood as if I lived there. That was my action in faith. I was believing God to move on my behalf.

I remember another instance, when I was ready to branch out of the open salon and rent a salon suite. At that time, we were trying to maneuver through covid and my clientele was slim. Without having all the means, I stepped out on faith and rented a salon suite that was more than what I was paying at the salon. God blessed me beyond measure, I would be booked up solid for months. That blessing came from faith. Its impossible to please God without faith. When we have faith without doubting and wavering, God must move on our behalf. Trust God today. Step out on faith today. Believe God today!
